Having therefore a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast the confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all respects like us, yet without sin. Let us therefore come forward with boldness to the throne of grace that we may receive mercy and find grace for timely help.

Hebrews 4:14-16

Welcome to COMING FORWARD! I hope that you find the same encouragement, love, and exhortation in my writing’s as I have found in my dear Lord Jesus Christ. As a recipient of His marvelous grace I have been blessed to know Him, and learn of Him in His word, ministry and personal visitation.

This blog is my feeble attempt to share some of those learning’s, experiences and enjoyment in my personal and Christian life with you in order that you be strengthened to continue running the race and that you be built up with all those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (1 Cor. 9:24, 2 Tim. 2:22). Through the word that has been richly dwelling in me along with my poems, psalms, hymns and spiritual songs; I pray each one will speak, teach and admonish your hearts just has He has done to mine through His grace (Col. 3:16, Eph. 5:19). The word says that whenever you come together that each one has! I as one of the “each ones” open my heart to each one of you through each post (1 Cor. 14:26). May you be blessed.

Now if you do not yet believe in the Lord then maybe some of my writing’s could answer some of your questions. While I don’t presume to know the mysteries of the universe, I can boldly testify that I have found the meaning of life, or at the very least, the meaning of my life. If you haven’t found yours or if there is a gnawing in the pit of your soul then I encourage you to come forward! Everyone eventually will be brought before Him. He is the God who made the world and all things in it. However, this One, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t live in something made by hands (Acts 17:24). Where does He live? Well my dear friend, you have the answer in yourself! What do you think that feeling of void and emptiness is? Why do you lie down at night and feel like you forgot or are missing something? It’s Him! He is knocking on the door to your heart. Let Him in. The God of the universe lives not in temples made with hands, but the very spirit within man (Job 32:8). I said “yet” because at some point, in this age or the next, all will know that He is Lord. Oh dear one, turn, have a change in your mind and believe into Him. He is the author and perfecter of our faith. Don’t try to believe out of your own mind and understanding. That’s like asking a blind person to describe the color red! All you have to do is open your heart and your mouth, call on Him and you will have faith, because He is faith! He is also the captain of our salvation, leading many sons into glory (Heb. 2:10, 12:2). For all of this and so much more He came. For this He died. Not only for me, but also for you!
