Dreary

I dreamt a dream that could tear through seams,
One with anger, awe and vexation.
A sleepy vision of emerald green,
Weighing heavy on my imagination.
It was a vivid sight of nightmare fright,
That could only lead to consternation.
But how does it fit, what does it mean,
Am I stumbling upon a revelation?
Or is this just, the countless doubts,
An expression of my hesitation?
I can’t say for sure, how am I to know,
It’s started in me my own reservations.
But I want Your grace, Your shining face,
To live with You, in bliss and jubilation.
So, no more doubts, no more fears,
Clean out all my closets of trepidation.
Turn my pillow into a pillar,
And enter the gate of this salvation.
