Taking man out of Egypt,
Can’t take Egypt out of man.
Witnessing unnatural plagues,
Yet naturally disobeys commands.
Pass over and save from death,
Part barriers standing in way.
Turning bitter waters sweet,
Cross of Christ on full display.
Journey long, terrible wilderness.
Out of sight and out of mind.
Irrespective of separation,
Still golden calves design.
Problem deep inside of man,
Rotting from inside out.
Applying lipstick to this pig,
Momentarily hides its snout.
Cliché DNA adage proves,
You are what you eat!
Constitution and composition,
Require salvation complete.
Process change needed in diet.
Garbage in, only garbage out.
Working for food that perishes,
Doesn’t preserve eternal route.
Flesh displaced by manna,
Fish, garlic, and leeks opine.
Murmur, loathe and lust,
Longest miracle way maligned.
Unique, heavenly food vital,
To maintain daily life supply.
Solitary source of origin,
Living bread raining from sky.
(He is this living bread,
Not as the fathers ate and died.
Eating of Him, live forever.
True food He has supplied.
Flesh profits nothing,
Spirit and life are His word.
Evolving shift in appetite,
New creation man transferred.)
Rearranging inner being.
Nourish, spot and wrinkle heal.
Amassed aggregate digested,
Within golden pot concealed.
Reaching metabolic assimilation,
Food abiding unto eternal life.
Becoming God’s dwelling place,
His match, His bride, His wife.
