Impotent Lie

Compelling a movement in an improvement direction,
Is the foundational section opening the misconception.
Creating the perception of achieving perfection,
An endless erection concepting a godly connection.
But after each rejection they repeat the projection.
With little apprehension, no one bothers to question:
Why can’t they ever maintain eternal affections?
Why can’t they overcome the slightest predilection?
Why is there more and more anxiety and depression?
How is the world smaller but less interconnection?
And why does it feel like life is a lingering infection?
No, no, no, simply a small exception needing correction;
So easily obtained through mindful reflection.
Not to mention countless repressions and concessions:
They’ll lift you up, honored guest at the reception.
They’ll try and distract with uncalled for aggression.
They’ll try and contain through outright suppression.
They’ll bride and steal to avoid overt detection.
But when all else fails they’ll open a new dimension.
You see, it was my fault, I merely failed to mention,
Take two of these, call morning after, contraception;
Just three easy payments, then you’ll pass inspection,
Never dropping the con, always sly misdirection.
Yet this deflection like the lie by extension,
Can for a limited time only preserve the attention.
And so, they pretend that the change in direction,
Was always a part of their masterful progression.
I pray there’s a remnant under His protection;
I just can’t handle anymore foolish obsession.
Blind leading the blind with no introspection,
Bringing the whole world into their deception.
Open your ears, listen to Solomon’s expression!
Open your mouth, make a genuine confession!
Open your eyes, only one man’s in resurrection!
Everything else fails through the lie of omission.
Everything else is false, can’t achieve ascension.
Nothing else saves from the final destination.
Except the man who came in condescension.
Expect the man who died for your transgression.
Be saved from the lie and confirm your election,
Drop all your methods, return to His possession.
